Since 1979, the Nevada Bureau of Mines and Geology has published annual reports detailing mineral and geothermal activities and accomplishments throughout the state. These reports also provide statistics on known gold and silver deposits.
Each annual volume includes comprehensive information on mineral, oil and gas, and geothermal activity in Nevada for the year. Content covers production statistics; exploration and development efforts, including drilling for petroleum and geothermal resources; discoveries of new orebodies; newly opened mines; and expansions or other significant developments at existing operations. The reports also include updated directories of active mines and mills.
